Celebrate him and love

We meet so many people during the day that are lost in their thoughts, lost in their troubles, lost in the hurts from those close to them. They may or may not know Jesus, that not being the point. Whether they love Him or not, they need to know we love them. They need to know someone is on their side. They may use a little colorful language or they may like a political figure we don't approve of. But they still need to feel God's love through us. It's a whimsical command from Paul and it was an example from Jesus more than once. Jesus turned water to wine at a wedding party. The Bible, as we read through the gospels, finds Jesus at dinners and parties often. He was celebrating God as he loved those at the dinner. This is an example for us. Celebrating Him is what we were meant to do. It keeps us from being down, depressed, grumpy Christians! We'll have joy, we'll be thankful, people might wonder what the reason is.
