shelter's hours are from 8:00am to 8:00pm, 7 Days a Week and the adoption hours are from Noon to 7:00pm, 7 Days a Week. You may contact the shelter’s Manhattan offices at (212) 788-4000. All cats (as well as dogs and rabbits) available for adoption have received a behavior evaluation, and you can apply for a specific breed if you like. Also, the Animal Care and Control Center requires that animals adopted must be neutered, spayed, or altered.
