Carrie Underwood has performed many memorable duets during her country music reign. In fact, the powerhouse songstress is featured on the legendary Willie Nelson's, "To All The Girls," album that is scheduled for an October 15, 2013 release.
Here is a look back at five of Carrie Underwood's top duets.
"I Told You So" with Randy Travis - Carrie's take on Randy Travis' 1988 classic, "I Told You So," was intended as a solo track for her "Carnival Ride" disc. A re-worked version featuring the iconic singer earned the pair a smash number one record and a performance on American Idol.
"Does He Love You" with Jamie O'Neal - Fresh from her 2005 win on American Idol, Carrie Underwood was quickly whisked away on a media tour. One high-profile stop included a performance on the CMT special, "100 Greatest Duets." Carrie performed alongside country musician Jamie O'Neal for an emotion-filled rendition of the Reba McEntire and Linda Davis original, "Does He Love You."
"Bless the Broken Road" with Rascal Flatts - Carrie Underwood chose to collaborate with country music superstars Rascal Flatts as part of the American Idol finale. They performed the trio's massive crossover hit, "Bless the Broken Road." The tune, written by Marcus Hummon, Bobby Boyd, and Jeff Hanna, saw a huge spike in sales following the performance. The live performance from the show reached the Billboard Country Airplay chart, although it was never officially released as a single.
"Leave Love Alone" with Hunter Hayes- During her "Blown Away" tour in 2012 and 2013, Carrie invited opening act Hunter Hayes to join her onstage. The pair delighted audiences nationwide with their show-stopping performance of "Leave Love Alone." Carrie's solo version of the tune appears on her CMA award-nominated album, "Blown Away."
"Remind Me" with Brad Paisley - They have toured and hosted the Country Music Association awards show together, so it came as no surprise when Carrie teamed up with Brad Paisley for a duet. Their duet, "Remind Me," raced to number one on the country charts and garnered several award nominations.
This is just a small taste of Carrie's remarkable duets; what is your favorite? Her guest appearance with the Rolling Stones earlier this year? Her blissfully perfect duet with Tony Bennett? Her surprise duet with Steven Tyler at the Academy of Country Music Awards?
