While still unimpressive through the air, the Cougar offense excelled at the run game on Saturday, led by sophomore quarterback Taysom Hill, who rushed for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns. Fellow sophomore Jamaal Williams added 182 yards, and converted rugby star Paul Lasike "chipped-in" 87 yards and a touchdown of his own.
Texas showed signs of life, scoring a touchdown in each of the first three quarters, but even a plus-two turnover ratio and holding BYU to just 129 passing yards wasn't enough to make the game a little bit close.
The Cougars have a bye-week to revel in the victory and prepare for their rivalry game with Utah, but the Longhorns will have little rest to heal their wounds, as they are heading home to face the #25 Ole Miss Rebels.
Here you'll find the top five stats from BYU's thrashing of Texas, captured in photos.
