“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”(Matthew 6:6)
There are some activities that are to be done in private. A private place is established for those activities. Everyone does not need to know, see, or hear them. Prayer is one of those activities. Prayer can also be done with others. Jesus gave instructions on conducting non pretentious prayers. It should be done in a room with a door closed. This is the opposite of standing on a street corner or in a building. It is to be done in secret.
Conversations with God can happen at any moment by saying a prayer in your heart. God is unseen. Talking with Him is done in faith. Jesus stated, “Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”(Matthew 6:6 partial) Faith gets rewards. The rewards are answered prayers. Holy Spirit leads into peace of mind. He sends ministering spirits (angels) to work on behalf of believers in Jesus. There are countless other ways that the all wise God answers prayer.
Challenge: Believer, give God in Jesus name praise for answered prayer! Amen!
