Bridgestone Arena offers new concession items for 2013-14

After introducing several new items featured on the menus of the concession venues at Bridgestone Arena last season, the gastronomic worker bees at 501 Broadway went back to work on adding additional items for the 2013-14 season that will give arena attendees the opportunity to step outside the metaphorical box of run of the mill game night fare.

Yes, hot dogs, popcorn, pizza, and the like are all still available should people want to go with the staples. Last season, new items like Nashville hot chicken, bacon on a stick, and chicken and waffles entered the concession fray.

Arena executive chef Wade Gann reports that the chicken and waffles was the most popular of last season’s introductions.

Debuting this season, chef Gann and his team have introduced several new items that give fans even more choices to indulge in prior to and during hockey games as well as other events held at Bridgestone.
