The Molina Curse by Charles L. Fields is the fifth book in the Charles Stone series. The book is part travel fiction with Charles taking a trip down under to visit family in Australia and returning to the states via a cruise with stops in New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji, and Hawaii. It is also part romance with the trip being a test for his relationship with Jan. Finally, it is a thriller with Charles facing several assassination attempts as well as some of his associates facing trouble related to the Molina Curse.
Overall The Molina Curse is an okay read. The main plot is good with plenty of suspense and the travel aspect is interesting if you like to travel. However, there is a lot of little scenes and interactions with characters that are irrelevant to the rest of the plot that make it seem like mostly fluff at times.
