Blair Crimmins voted Creative Loafing's lustiest man

Even world-renowned Usher couldn't stand up to the competition of Blair Crimmins, front man for Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, who was voted by the public in January to be the lustiest man in Atlanta. The poll, conducted by Creative Loafing, featured celebrities from around the city, such as DJs, radio hosts, and... Falcons wives. There were two polls, one to vote for women and one to vote for men (consequently, Kristin Klingshirn from Q100's The Bert Show won lustiest female). The Celebrity Lust list, as it is called, is separate from the annual Lust List, which features lesser-known Atliens (visit that list here- we're excited because Matt Tanner from StoneRider made the list).

On Facebook last night Crimmins updated his friends, letting them know he had won. Pictured standing beside his fireplace, holding puppy Banjo, both pant less- don't worry, even Banjo keeps a sweater on- Crimmins holds up a half-empty bottle of Crown Royal, his only prize for winning. In regards to that, Crimmins had no hard feelings, stating the following:

"Maybe we expected a big picture in Creative Loafing? Well, I guess I did too. Maybe you and I thought I’d get some good press for my band? Definitely. But let’s not be disappointed! You see, when I’m not busy running around town being a lusty celebrity I play music with my band Blair Crimmins and The Hookers and I know that when my next album comes out they’re going to do a big write up about it in Creative Loafing. They’ve always been a supporter of mine and I owe a lot to CL."

Crimmins, who is known for his professionalism in Atlanta's music scene as much as his band the Hookers are known for their talent, went on to thank his loyal fan base. He also said that the contest inspires him to continue to work hard on his music because it proves the time-tested truth that "the only thing you’ll ever get based on your looks is a free drink."

Blair Crimmins and the Hookers are busy working on their next studio album. Keep up to date by joining the Hookers' Facebook group in addition to liking their page.

Now, let's celebrate Mr. Crimmins proper. Just who is Blair Crimmins? The man can be described as many things. Why not celebrate each one? Check out the list and meet the man known as Old Man Cabbage.
