There are so many ways to utilize a hanging or even a standing shoe organizer in your home. These easy to put together and hand organizers have a multitude of uses that one may not be aware of. They are inexpensive and saves everyone time searching for items, organizing things used often and especially for clearing the clutter.

Today we will discuss about twelve different ways a shoe organizer can be put to use in your home. Before we start it is quite obvious that this organizer is great for shoes. The pockets are big enough for men, women and children’s footwear. Just keep in mind that men’s shoes tend to be larger and each pocket would only hold one shoe whereas woman’s shoes usually will fit a pair of shoes.

Now let’s see how many other ways we can use this shoe organizer.

Children are always at the top of our lists. Their bedrooms are full of toys. Some toys are large, while others contain smaller pieces. This hanging bag is great for stuffed animals, small cars, action figures and game controllers. Just hand the bag on the door and allow your child to pick a pocket to collect those toys.   •  The bathroom is a busy room. There are so many items that are used by different members of the family. Have the adults use the top pockets and children use the bottom pockets. Label them if need be. Some items to store are: bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, toothpaste tubes, hair brushes, combs, makeup, makeup brushes and lotions. This will leave room in the medicine cabinet for medications, razors and glass after shave bottles. What a great way to free the clutter from the vanity top and still know where everything is in a flash.

What a clever way to store various types of printer paper, writing paper, small notebooks, stationary and envelopes. Just place it on the desk and fill it up. Now there is a place for everything and readily available whenever needed. This is also great to use to organize household bills and school papers.
  •  For families that have long kitchen cabinets hang the organizer on the inside of the door. Use the pockets for salad dressing pouches, quick noodle pouches, boxes of Jell-o and pudding or even gravy mix bags. These items take up room on the shelves because most of them don’t stand up by themselves. Now they have a place and leave more room for cans, jars, preserves and dry food items.
  •  Gardeners can start off the season early with a shoe organizer. Place small plants or a little dirt and seeds into each pocket. The plastic organizers will hold up to watering. When the plants get big enough you can then hang the shoe organizer outdoors until it is time to plant them in the ground. This is great for starting all the herbs used in cooking.
  • Children have lots of toys and gadgets. Not just in the home as we discussed earlier but also when you take a road trip. The trip may be to the corner store or a trip across the state. They have a ton of favorites they want to take with them wherever they go. Hang a shorter shoe organizer behind the front car seats so they can keep all their precious toys, books and games organized and easy to reach. Now they can entertain themselves on the trip without having half their things fall to the floor out of reach.
  •  Beach goers and families with pools this is a great idea. The shoe organizer can be hung in the bathroom, on the linen closet door or a door near the pool area. Keep all the products needed for sun bathing, tanning, sun burn ointments, sun glasses, hats and flip flops handy and accessible.
