Even winter can be a great time to visit Longwood Gardens, as they truly have something for every season and every occasion. One feature that they have every year during the months of January through March is their orchid extravaganza. These beautiful flowers can be found all throughout the conservatory in a variety of colors and styles.

In addition to viewing the flowers, there are featured events throughout this month, including things like tours, talks, and events directed at kids and families. You can even purchase your own beautiful orchids to take home with you.

The following slideshow provides a glimpse into some of the amazing flowers and sights that you can see at Longwood Gardens during their orchid season. Although this event is over for the 2013 year, you can still look forward to making a visit there in 2014!
