Beauty brands that create the looks at New York Fashion Week Fall 2013

If you love watching New York Fashion Week, you know it is more than just about the fashion. The beauty notes are a driving force for the runway shows. Quite a few beauty trends come straight off the runways. The best part about some of these trends is they come from affordable drugstore and retail brands. Check out a few of the makeup brands, you can afford, that help to sponsor New York Fashion Week shows.

Maybelline New York

Maybelline has been a huge sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in general for eight seasons. They tend to feature a specific product line each season. This fall, it seems their Color Show nail color is the hot ticket. So pay close attention to the nails at Rachel Zoe, DKNY, Lacoste, Bibhu Mohapatra, Richard Chai, Wes Gordon, Mara Hoffman, Marissa Webb, Belstaff, Guilietta, Michael Bastian and Custo Barcelona.

NYX

NYX is giving Maybelline a run for its money by supporting the look for the Nicholas K show. The smoky, futuristic look Tina Turnbow created for the show is edgy and beautiful. These smoky lids are not too harsh and can be easily translated off the runway into your fall makeup rotation.

Essie

One of my favorite nail brands, Essie, made an appearance. Some of the shows Essie made an appearance at were the Ralph Rucci, Jenny Packham, and Nonoo shows.

Tresemme

Tresemme is the offical haircare brand of New York Fashion Week Fall 2013. If you loved the hair at Jenny Packham, Rebecca Minkoff, Tracy Reese, Vivienne Tam, and a few others, you have this company to thank.

There is still two more days of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week to look forward to. These affordable beauty brands have more looks for fall to share. If you missed the looks, check out their Facebook pages for details on how to recreate the runway trends they helped make.
