Delicata. No, not delicate. Delicata. Squash, that is. We’re all familiar with zucchini, and acorn squash, and … but here’s a new one, using the letter “d” to educate us.
On to “e”, with escarole, which is another lettuce-like veggie, similar to arugula..
And to finish the lesson, let’s move on to “f” for fennel, a very odd looking vegetable – and yet, it could be celery’s cousin. Check them out by looking at the List.
