Atlanta Underground Guide to Halloween 2013, Part I

October 31 falls on a Thursday this year, which makes Halloween a "school night." Luckily, there are plenty of great Halloween parties being thrown in Atlanta both the weekend before and after the official holiday.

This Friday, October 25, there are three killer parties to choose from. Secretroom.net is throwing the 999 Hells party at Jungle with a fashion show, costume contest, and multiple performances throughout the night. The Shelter's Annual Halloween Bash is also on Friday, with a costume contest, three amazing DJs, and more. Or if a rave is more your scene this Friday, you'll find it at Horrible Children presents Phantasmagoria, the sixth annual Horrible Children Halloween party.

Plan a second costume and head out Saturday night for two more Halloween parties. QUAD is offering another massive Complex Chaos Halloween party. This complex-wide event will feature three stages of music, costume contests, a photo booth, and plenty of fun. Or if you prefer a more intimate underground event, check out Afterlife. The formerly secret location of this event has been revealed, and it is going to be a great night!
