"Ask in My Name!"(John 16:23-24)

23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.(John 16:23-24)

Names are very important. A name is given as description of a person, place, or thing. It is used as a reference point in a conversation. The name helps others gain knowledge and understanding on the subject being discussed. One can ask questions and get a relative answer.

Jesus taught in the Scripture that His name is a point of reference. His name is to be used reverently in conversation with the Heavenly Father. God, the Most High, will answer because His Son has been mentioned. Jesus said to ask His Father and the believer will receive instruction. Believers have the Holy Spirit to help in the asking and receiving. What is the result of asking and using Jesus name? It is joy. Joy is one of the outcomes of the Spirit and as a state of being.

Challenge: Believer, pray to the Father in Jesus name and receive the answer. The outcome is a completion of joy!
