On May 2, 2014, the Fort Myers Art Walk was held, and it featured three artists and several art galleries. The event was held in Fort Myers, Fla. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

At the Art Walk the Art League of Fort Myers featured the art of high school students in Lee County. Winners' works, that had been awarded ribbons, were on display at the judged exhibit. That exhibit will run through May 29.

The Arts for ACT Gallery featured three artists, and the first of them represented was Dale Weber. Weber is a mixed media/found objects artist who has been searching for the significant hidden within the insignificant. The art of Dale Weber reveals an inner beauty of the mundane. Weber's art is a vehicle for the overlooked, abandoned, and forgotten elements within today's society.

Allan Tiller’s photography has become the medium of choice, largely due to the changing physical abilities brought about by Multiple Sclerosis. He takes great pleasure in sharing his vision of the unseen details of the natural world.

Dr. Mary-Louise Biasotti Hooper is a national and international prize-winning artist, painting seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes, abstraction and still life. Also featured George Settos and Jerry McGreens. This exhibit continues through June 2, 2014

In addition to the artists, the Grand Illusion Gallery features Shari Shifrin, George Settos, Jerry McGreens and more "Dirty Sanchez" Recycled Art Show. The Ocasiocasa Studio Gallery has a new show featuring a series of ‘Skeleton Queens’ and other new works of sculptured masking tape art on salvaged dolls, recycled wire, and more, created by Jeff & Dale Ocasio.

At the Reverie & Rock Art Gallery there was an exhibit that featured digital surrealism art by Kathy Kuser and concert photography by Jamie Kuser.

The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center featured Digital Lee. It is a design plus technology showcase of the most
exceptional student projects from the Lee County Public School District. This year’s fourth-annual exhibit will debut at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Fort Myers River District. This exhibit provides an opportunity for individuals to experience the most innovative student work in the region. The competition was open to Lee County’s middle school, high school, and post-secondary programs in Graphic Design, Animation, Publication Design, and Web Design.

Another gallery to note was the Timeless Gallery. They had items titled "Interest & Illumination" that contained that of Steampunk and more. Learn about these artists and art on Facebook. One can look forward to future exhibits at the next Fort Myers Art Walk!
