Anti Valentine's Day party ideas: Enjoy 'Love on the Rocks' cocktails'

Who says only couples can enjoy Valentine's Day 2013? Single men and women can have a blast at their very own Anti Valentines day party, after all it is Singles Awareness Day.

Enjoy some "broken heart" cookies, sip on some "Cupid's broken arrow" and forget about the pressure to be in a relationship for a fun, singles evening.

Check out these cocktails for your anti valentines day party from Punch Bowl:

Cuspids broken arrow

  • 3 oz. Three-O Mango Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. cranberry juice
  • splash of fresh lime juice

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Love on the rocks

  • 1 ½ oz. Three-O Cherry Vodka
  • 4 oz. ginger ale
  • splash of grenadine

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Bake up some tasty "broken heart" cookies or brownies for a sweet treat. Visit Bakeaway With Me or Duncan Hines for a couple of great recipes to get you started.

When you bake your heart shaped cookies or brownies, you can write anti-Valentine's messages such as "go away", “u stink”, or "ur not hot"!

Decor for your party can include colors such as black and hot pink - sexy and fun! You might want to find some black roses to spruce things up a bit!

Keep things fun. Have dance music and awesome songs to celebrate Singles Awareness Day. Invite guests to play games such as smashing a Cupid piñata or throwing darts at pictures of exes if you're so inclined.
