Last year there was a real time strategy title call Anomaly Warzone Earth. It was a reverse tower defense game where you would take control of a human in a cybernetic suit and lead a convoy from one end of the map to the other. Typically in tower defense titles you play as the person placing the towers. But 11 Bit Studios thought that was played out and they switched up the roles. It came out on PC and home consoles and was a resounding success. The game was a great take on the tower defense genre and it worked very well on the console versions. Anomaly 2 aims to expand on the tower defense hit with many additions that make this game a real sequel.
I had the chance to play a preview build of the game which features a few of the levels and VR missions you will play in the beginning of the game. From what I played, the original gameplay is still intact with some welcome improvements. This list will give you five reasons to play Anomaly 2. You can take a look at one of the levels in this video.
