We like watching 'American Idol' TV show and it is now in it's 12th season on Nashville TV. Presented each week on our local Fox TV station, Channel 17, WZTV, we tune in, listen and then have a voice in the voting for who we want to be able to claim the top spot on American Idol.
We have really been enjoying Nashville's own country superstar and Grand Ole Opry member, Keith Urban, as he began his first time of being one of the panel of four judges on 'American Idol' for this season. It seems Keith Urban can pick out the good country singers from the rest of the crowd, from what we've been hearing of his remarks. If having a natural singing talent enables one to see that same talent in another person, then we think we'll see a winner of American Idol who will follow a previous winner, Carrie Underwood, into the folds of country music in Music City, USA.
With three of the American Idol top ten being from the Nashville area, we look at the chances of a winner being from here as a top three finalist is almost a certainly. We're not sure at this point which of our three Tennessee residents still in the battle that we'd like to see win, but right now, we are pulling for each of these three and wishing them well in their fight to win top spot on the 'American Idol' TV show.
