Wednesday’s “America’s Got Talent” results show revealed the final six acts that will participate in the upcoming Season 8 finals, which begin on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Teen dance duo D’Angelo and Amanda, operatic singer Branden James, acrobatic dance team Chicago Boyz, country singer Jimmy Rose, dancer Kenichi Ebina, and acrobats KriStef Brothers were the contestants that earned spots in Wednesday’s episode.
The other six acts were revealed the week before and include singer Cami Bradley, operatic duo Forte, comedian Taylor Williamson, all-girl dance group Innovative Force, magician Collins Key, and shadow dance group Catapult Entertainment.
According to TV listings, six acts will advance from the field of 12 that will perform next week.
It’s time to figure out who will be in the season finale round of six.
Since we can’t list all 12 acts, let’s start by identifying the bottom two of the group right here: Innovative Force and Key.
Innovative Force is a cute group – and very talented for their ages – but the group is not worthy of a Las Vegas headlining spot. Not to mention that kids belong anywhere but on the high-stakes stage of show business.
Key is a no-brainer. His semifinal act seemed contrived and was confusing in its presentation. The swooning teenaged girls won’t be able to save him this time around.
Which leaves us with 10 acts to evaluate, and here they are from least deserving to most deserving.
