While some of the choices can be found on bestseller lists and are undeniable customer favorites, those characteristics are not the only deciding factors that determine whether a tome earns a spot on the Best Books of the Month list; many stories accrue additional merit by being relatively undiscovered or by positive word-of-mouth recommendations. But if there is one element that all included titles must have, then it would be a plot and/or characters that are simply unforgettable.
