Throughout mankind's existence we have stared up at the skies in wonder, trying to understand what's out there and how it all came to be. With the recent developments in science and technology we are getting an even fuller picture of what exists in the heavens. In fact, many recent discoveries--like the discovery of organic compounds on Mars and at least 17 billion Earth sized planets in just our Milky Way galaxy--are not only revolutionary, they force us to rethink our very conception of planets, galaxies and life as we know it.
