Mother Nature is finally allowing us to turn the calendar forward with the weather! It is a beautiful, sunny Monday out there and temperatures are warming up. Highs today will push the middle 60s and highs tomorrow may even get to nearly 70 degrees!
A weak cool front will skirt central Ohio tonight. This front will be starved for moisture and not have a large air mass change behind it. A stray sprinkle or shower may occur during the early morning hours, but that will be about it. With a warmer start in the morning (upper 40s!), we will see highs soar into the upper 60s with some afternoon sunshine.
The weather pattern stays mild but turns more active for the remaining three days of the work week. That same frontal boundary will sag back to the south and stall across Ohio. Several rounds of showers and isolated thunderstorms appear likely as multiple waves of low pressure ride along the front.
The first round of rain will hit Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. It will not rain all day, but expect some morning showers and possibly evening showers as well. Another heavier batch of rain and storms will hit late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
A stronger area of low pressure will swing a cold front through on Friday bringing a good bet for showers and thunderstorms. Behind that cold front, we will see a decent cool down going into next weekend. Highs will likely tumble back into upper 40s and 50s. Spring is not here to stay 100% yet, but it is slowly getting warmer!
