A dozen things we loved about our Silversea Silver Spirit cruise

I sailed on Silversea Silver Spirit from Fort Lauderdale to San Juan. This wasn't our first time aboard. We are big fans of the luxury line that includes tips and drinks in its fares, butlers to man the suites and seamless service in the bars and dining venues. This Cinderella-like cruise rated a 10 on the nautical scale.

The food was superb, the staff about the best at sea and the experience, priceless.

The ports of call: Grand Turk, St. Barths, St. Martin and Tortola were phenomenal. Of our two shore excursions the one in St. Martin to L'Orient beach (or plage in French) was the best.

A massage that came with the Wrapture treatment for me in the spa was one of my top ten (thanks to Sara). Richard's treatment which include a facial and a rub was also fantastic according to him (and he's pretty fussy, too).

Our embarkation and disembarkation couldn't have run more smoothly, although we were sorry to say goodbye, but we expect to return for another Silversea cruise in the near future as do most of the loyal passengers who pick this line.

Now sit back and enjoy our slideshow list of 12 reasons we loved our cruise.
