7 ways to make your winter outfits more vibrant

During winter it’s very easy to dress completely in black and gray. For warmth, the most common choice is heavy parkas and trench coats. Before you know it, you are all bundled up in an all black outfit, looking as dull as the foggy weather.

Wearing dark colors on a daily basis is not only too repetitive, but it can bring you down. Colors reflect inner emotions and wearing only dark neutrals can make you seem sad or indifferent.

Just because it's winter, you don't need to refrain your fashion creativity. Sure, summery dresses are not an option, but it's possible to bring some of summer's energy back into your winter outfits.

Remember: your outfits don't need to match the winter mood. Quite the opposite. Why not brighten up a rainy day and your own mood with an exciting outfit?

Check out these 7 ways to infuse your outfit with energy this winter. You don't need to do them all together, but spread them out along the week.
