7 Most Anticipated Albums of 2013

If Fall Out Boy were wondering if anyone missed them during their three year hiatus, they were met with an overwhelming yes. Ever since the band announced plans to make new music, fans have been going wild with most of their Spring tour already sold out. They recently revealed the release date for their sixth album and judging from the positive response from their lead single “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em' Up)” this will be one of the most talked about albums of the year. DM fans got a taste of what the band has in store for the new year when they released the single “Heaven” a few weeks ago and now they're begging for more. With their last studio album being released in 2009, this upcoming record is five years in the making and with the new single, the guys show that they still have tons of new music in them. With a world tour in the works for 2013 as well, this is bound to be an exciting year for the legendary band. Ever since Justin started appearing more and more in movies, everyone's been asking when is he going to do music again? He has finally answered our question with a new album.   • Metal fans have been talking about this since the legendary band dropped hints about it when they first reunited a few years ago. The heavy metal band's nineteenth studio is much anticipated because it finally reunites the band with original lead singer Ozzy Osbourne, who was booted from the band in the late '70s. The last recording the band did with Osbourne was on 1998's live album “Reunion.” So far no new singles have been released from the upcoming record, but metal fans are still excited to find out how they band will sound after all these years and after various lead singers. 
  • Though the rapper didn't find much success with his 2009 release “Relapse,” he came back swinging and better than ever on his seventh album “Recovery.” This was the album that let haters and lovers know that Eminem wasn't going down without a fight. Ever since, people have been eagerly awaiting new music from the man. Rumors of a new album started when he announced he would be headlining 2013's Reading and Leeds Festivals. Longtime manager Paul Rosenberg confirmed the rumors by stating Eminem's next album should be released sometime after Memorial Day. 
  • There are still slim details about this one, but what we do know is that these rockers are planning a much awaited new album this year, which features everybody's favorite rock star Dave Grohl. Their last album “Era Vulgaris” released in 2007, was met with music critical acclaim and pushed the band into the mainstream and fans have been waiting for new material ever since. Some of the members have formed side bands like Them Crooked Vultures, but fans still cried for the band they knew and loved. Hopefully, QOTSA keeps their word and we'll get that new album this year.
