Standing in line at a theme park is inevitable. You'll find a line just about anywhere you go, whether it be to grab a bite to eat, get on a ride, or go to the bathroom. Fortunately, Universal Orlando offers several different ways for guests to minimize their wait times while they're at the parks. While many of these options are not free, they are worth considering in order to make the most of your time and vacation so you can see everything you want to.
I personally compiled a list of the 5 best ways to minimize your wait time for attractions. Unfortunately, these only apply to attractions and won't help you save time standing in line for a meal or the bathroom. Please continue scrolling to read the list I have created to help you minimize how much time you spend standing in line during your next visit to Universal Orlando Resort.

A great way to wait in a shorter line is by purchasing Express. Express is Universal Orlando's "front of the line" program. While they do charge you to participate in the program, paying extra for it can minimize the time you spend waiting in line even on a busy day at the parks. Although it's considered a "front of the line" program, you don't entirely skip the line - you wait in a separate line that's specific for others using Express.
Express is also included with your hotel stay when you stay at one of Universal Orlando's deluxe on-site hotels. Prices on Express may vary from day to day and is based on expected attendance.
Note that not all attractions are included with Express.
Early Entry is specifically for those who are staying at one of Universal Orlando's on-site hotels. Universal Orlando typically offers early entry to their hotel guests a full hour before the scheduled park time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is great and will help minimize your waits through out the rest of the day because the Wizarding World gets pretty busy once the park opens, so if you go during early entry, you can move on to other attractions at Islands of Adventure while everyone is heading for the Wizarding World.
Go at park opening
You're on vacation so you want to sleep in a little bit later and head to the parks around noon because everyone is getting up early and going, right? WRONG!
Lots of tourists have the "sleeping in" mentality and go later in the morning, so set your alarm and get to the parks before they open. Another plus to short lines in the morning is that it's also not as hot in the morning.
Single Riders Line
The Single Riders line isn't just for Single Riders. To be honest with you, I use the Single Riders line on a regular basis. Although I'm not able to ride with my family, I spend a lot less time waiting in line so I get more done at the parks.
The only downside to using the Single Riders line is that Universal doesn't guarantee you will be able to ride with your friends or family. In fact, they tell you that you will be split up. However, if you're lucky enough, you might end up riding together anyway, but don't expect it. If you want to ride together, consider an Express pass.
The absolute way to minimize you wait time to nearly zero is to partake in a VIP Tour. While VIP Tours can be quite costly, they're worth the experience. Remember the Express option I mentioned earlier? While on a VIP Tour, your guide will escort you right onto the ride, bypassing the standby and Express lines.
They're also quite valuable as you don't have to worry about lockers and you're able to see quite a bit of the parks.
