Dogs can pass diseases and viruses amongst each other much the same way humans do. Germs that are spread from one dog to another can cause some pretty scary illnesses that dog parents should be aware of. Knowing how to protect your dog and what to look for if they ever do become sick can be important in keeping your dog healthy.

Dog feces are not a natural part of the environment and should always be picked up and disposed of properly. In addition to possibly making other dogs ill, dog poop can also make humans sick.
