August came and went. Fall is closing in on us and if you're still combing through your dating options, perhaps you need to switch up your approach. One of the more exhausting aspects of introductory dating is who should ask who out first and where to go. Personally, I think dinner and drinks is a boring, antiquated first date. It's the safe choice because normally people are looking to wind their week down with a weekend nighttime date. But we've all been in the position at least once where you go out for dinner with a person you're still undecided about and it goes horribly. The ideal exit strategy is to grin and bear it because for the ladies, you're getting a free dine. And for the guys, we're getting leftovers for tomorrow.
We all can avoid this costly inconvenience by planning an afternoon date that's cost-effective. This isn't just for first dates or guys who are casually dating multiple people. Sometimes as a couple, you need to switch things up and break the predictability of your quality time. Take the pressure off dating and your wallet.
