As we mentioned before or if you haven't noticed (or under a rock) August will be a quite busy month for music lover practically everywhere. Tours are being announced left and right from the hottest in music right now, such as, Beyonce & Jay Z On The Run Tour, The Monster Tour featuring Eminem and Rihanna, or even Drake. Let's not even start with EMD, with this month's Electric Zoo, this weekend's Mad Decent Block Party, Skrillex performing at Club Marquee or RPM presents Bauuer, Boyz Noise, Spank Rock and more at Governor's Island.
Let's not forget about the many music festivals! However, keep in mind there are options for music fans who are trying to rock out, however, not end up at rock bottom. Free festivals like Summer Stage and Celebrate Brooklyn is still in action hosting free, family friendly events to finish your summer with a bang. This season has been pretty congested and dominated with EMD music and Top 40 hit makers, however, when was the last time you've seen the R&B classic musicians. Can't remember, eh? Well, you're in luck, we give you four free events that are coming up soon that will feature amazing soul/r&b musicians - many are quite familiar, others are emerging and worth the experience. Nonetheless, it's all free.
