1) Love Painting- What you will need: Blank white canvas, paintbrush, assorted paint colors, newspaper or paper towels. First you will need to set out your newspaper or paper towel on the floor so you can place your blank white canvas on top. After you have done this, pick your two or three favorite colors and paint the entire canvas horizontally so that the darkest colors flow down to eventually get lighter, resembling a horizon. Next, take white paint and paint the bottom of one hand (not your strong hand) and place it towards the left of the canvas but not to the edge, leave enough room to write the letter “L.” Next you will paint the bottoms of both your feet white as well and place these to the write of your canvas pointed inverted to shape the letter “V.” Make sure to also leave enough room that your feet are leaving enough room to the right of the canvas to write the letter “E.” Lastly, paint in white both letters “L” and “E” as seen in photo.
2) Homemade rainbow crayons- This is very simple craft, what you will need is an assortment of colored crayons, oven, tape, scissors, colored construction paper, muffin style baking pan. You can use a heart shaped design as seen here in photo. First, take all of the paper off each crayon. Next chop your crayons into smaller pieces about ½ inch long at the most and place into mixing bowl all together to grind into smaller pieces. Place ground up crayons into muffin style baking sheet. Bake crayons at 230 degrees for 15 minutes and take them out of the oven. Make sure to wait at least ten minutes before touching them to let them cool off. Lastly, cut the construction paper into small circles that will be slightly bigger than your newly baked rainbow crayons and tape the circles to the back of the crayons to make them presentable. You can write a nice note or something personal on the construction paper.
3) Tin Foil Hersey Kiss- What you will need is tin foil, construction paper, scissors, black marker and tape. First take your tin foil and rip off a large piece and crumple it up into a ball but not too tight because you will need to carefully unwrap it without creating any holes. Once you have done this, lay it flat and cut out a Hersey Kiss style shape. Next, take your colored construction paper and with your color of choice, cut out a heart shape and then a banner to replicate the paper at the top of a Hersey Kiss. In black marker write a special message you would like on your banner and tape to the top of your kiss and then tape the heart to the center. You can use glue as well since both work well.
4) Love Door Hanger- What you will need is colored construction paper, glue, scissors and a string. First you will need to take red construction paper and cut out 4 hearts. Once you cut out the first one use it as a guide to cut your other hearts to create the same exact size and shape. Next take any other colors you would like, since it is Valentines Day, pink and white make great accent colors. Cut out each letters in the word 'love' but make sure the letters are small enough that they will fit inside of the heart and look good. Glue each letter to a heart and then poke a small hole at the top of each heart. Lastly take the string and connect each heart to one another so they are on top of each other as pictured.
