Country music takes it's roots back to the days of the old Jimmie Rogers tunes which we heard when we were growing up near Nashville. The Grand Ole Opry was on our old AM radio each and every Saturday night, coming across the airwaves to us, amidst the static and imperfect speakers. That is where we learned to love country music, listening to the old singers, and never dreaming we would grow up to become a writer and having some of these same singers as our subject matter one day in the far distant future.
We also never dreamed there would be such a thing as the Internet or Facebook, where we could keep up with the Nashville celebrity country music stars, and where some of our postings on Facebook would be 'liked' by some of these same stars.
