2013 WWE Night of Champions results from Detroit, MI

Last night, WWE presented the 2013 Night of Champions pay per view, live from Detroit, MI. Only one title changed hands and that happened in the main event. The crowd was hot for most of the night. Here are the quick results.

Kick-off: Titus O’Neil and Darren Young won a five team tag team turmoil bout to earn a Tag Team Championship match, outlasting Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger, Tensai and Brodus Clay, Jimmy and Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater.

  1. Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel defeats Kofi Kingston via pin fall.
  2. Divas Champion AJ Lee defeats Natalya, Naomi and Brie Bella in a Fatal Four Way via submission when she made Natalya tap out.
  3. Rob Van Dam defeats World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio via DQ.
  4. The Miz defeats Fandango via submission.
  5. Paul Heyman and Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel defeat CM Punk in a 2 on Elimination match.
  1. Punk eliminates Axel via submission.
  2. Heyman eliminates Punk via pin fall after Ryback out Punk through a table.
  1. United States Champion Dean Ambrose defeats Dolph Ziggler via pin fall.
  2. Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defeat Titus O’Neil and Darren Young via pin fall.
  3. Daniel Bryan defeats WWE Champion Randy Orton via pin fall to win the title.
