The festival hosted by the Korean Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation will feature over 28 food vendors, Korean performances from I Love Dance and Yanghyung Soul Factory. Signature food dishes like bulgogi, kimchi, bibimbap, ginseng tea, soju, aloe vera, roasted seaweed, honey jujube, rice wine and other popular Korean dishes will be served.
Kim, Jae Soo, President of Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation hosted a invite-only luncheon on October 18, 2013 at The Plaza Hotel on 770 Fifth Avenue.
The luncheon included a food panel discussion moderated by Bret Thorn of Nation's Restaurant News discussing the increasing popularity of Korean cuisine in America with Phillip Lee, owner of the popular food truck Kimchi Taco Truck and Korean chef Shin Kim.
Guest speakers included New York State Assemblymen Ron Kim and New York City comptroller John Liu.
