2012-13 NBA season: Miami @ Chicago preview

Tonight, the Chicago Bulls play host to the Miami Heat in a battle of two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.

Records: Chicago 31-22, Miami 37-14

Kick-off: 8 p.m. EST

Television: TNT

Spread: Miami by 3

Over/under: 186.5

Last meeting: Chicago 96, Miami 89 (2013)

Points per game: The Bulls are averaging 93.2 points per game while Miami is averaging 103.2.

Rebounds per game: Chicago averages 43.8 boards per outing while the Heat are averaging 38.8 rebounds per game.

Assists per game: The Bulls are putting up 22.8 assists per outing while Miami is averaging 22.3 per game.

Points allowed per game: Chicago is giving up 91.5 points per outing while the Heat have allowed 96.7 points on average this season.

Thoughts: The Bulls are coming off a win over the New Orleans Hornets while the Heat defeated the Atlanta Hawks last night. With Miami playing last night on the road, I’m surprised they are a three point favorite. The Bulls win a close one tonight so I’d take them with the points as well as the over here.
