It's one of the most culturally-diverse schools in Los Angeles—one of the smallest public schools in one of the largest school districts in the country.

Now, you can be part of this community, and help out the school, which specializes in arts and technology (but isn't a charter school), and has 250 students, Kindergarten through sixth grade.

The Valley View Elementary School's annual Springtacular is Sunday, April 6 at North Weddington Park in Studio City. at 10844 Acama St. from noon to 5 p.m. The entertainment and entrance is all free.

There are magicians, bouncers, dunking teachers and a lot more fun and all the money goes to the school, which also gets funding from the California Institute of Contemporary Arts and other grants. The school will be 100 years old in 2017.
