I am very excited about my upcoming interview with Susan Calloway. This locally based Detroit singer is fast making a name for herself in the Music Industry. She is a singer/song writer who is making her dreams of success come true. I feel she is a true inspiration to other artists. She is a fine example that proves that if you have the talent and you put your heart and soul into what you love- your star will eventually shine. And right now Susan's shinning star is rising fast!
I found this brief explanation on how Susan got started on her official website;
"A classically trained pianist and vocalist from Detroit, Susan Calloway has been singing, playing, performing and writing songs her entire life. When she was barely out of high school, she started a band called Red C that scored a loud, loyal following in the Midwest and on the East Coast. Red C sold a ton of self-produced records and won over 12 Detroit Music Awards. After graduating from college, Susan left the band to follow her heart and pursue this solo project."
Susan's Official Press Release states the following, "She is the Winner of 12 Detroit Music Awards, the Detroit Based Singer/Songwriter Never Stops ‘Chasin The Sun,' the Title Track from Her Debut EP That's Picking up Steam on Top 40 and Hot AC Stations across the Country."
