Health Care Reform Act - the choice is yours

Poster from District 9 / by J. Spicer

Town halls across the nation are filling up with individuals eager to express their personal views over the Health Care Reform Act. Although freedom of speech is something we all have, it doesn't mean the elected officials are going to listen.

Put yourself in your congressman’s shoes - Imagine thousands of individuals desperate to get their point across bombarding you all at once about the same thing! After a while, wouldn’t it all start blending in together – into one distorted voice? No wonder Congressmen want to avoid these town hall meetings!

Memphis is having its share of dispute. Congressmen Steve Cohen of the 9th District knows all too well how deconstructive arguments can turn nonhuman and destroy democracy! One argument made was that illegal aliens should not be given health care – in District 9 of all places! Some humans!

To make everything even more complicated, Health Care Reform isn’t even the real topic! It seems to be used to take the limelight off the real topic – The Health Insurance Act!

Health insurance is a way to watch out for your finances instead of your health. Insurance is purchased with idea of covering you from financial disaster when health issues arise – that is if the insurance company doesn’t reject your claim. Sounds sort of like gambling doesn’t it? You’re betting you will get sick and, like a slot machine, you constantly feed the insurance company which may or may not pay out to cover your medical bills! It’s one thing to gamble with money, but not your health!

In a related article here at examiner Health care 101: What's happening with the health care forum?            Health and Happiness Examiner Gabriella Filippi reports from Portsmouth - Protesters chanted from across the street, "What do you want? Health care! When do you want it? Now!", while Obama backers shouted, "Health care is a right!"

Guess what? I got some good news – and it has nothing to do with saving money on insurance with Geico!

Everybody can have exactly what they want when it comes to health care reform!

Remember When President Obama said, “It’s not about us, it’s about you!”?

Have you forgotten this basic principle? (Maybe he needs to be reminded too!)

A Health Care Reform Act is all up to you!

Don’t waste focusing your energy into a media frenzied storm beyond your control. Instead turn your mind’s eye onto devising your own true health care reform – tailored to fit your needs and wants!

Health Care Reform is absolutely free! All it takes is the willingness to execute proper decisions set forth by predetermined strategy! The only way you can be let down is by letting yourself down!

What is a good way to begin reforming your personal Health Care?

Act!

Many people take the time to sit down and create a financial or business portfolio to develop revolving payouts for financial securities.

Why not take the time to build a personal Health Portfolio!

If you spent time now to develop new lifestyle habits to better your health, you reduce the odds of ever needing to use your insurance!

This is the money you could be saving with Geico.

Health Care should be about prevention. Who really wants to get sick and go to the doctor? So why not do things to prevent this from happening?

Suggestions to build a Health Care Portfolio:

Make a list of everything you do to make yourself healthier on a daily basis.

Review - How can you improve? How can you prevent illness?

Construct a new list of things that can help you.

The 5 No Matter Whats are great tools to get you started.

1. Breathe – Do you take the time to breathe properly?
2. M.O.E. – Mind Over Energy - Do you practice channeling energy on a regular basis?
3. M&M’s – Mindful Motions - Are you stimulating your muscles and joints throughout the day?
4. Q.I.T. – Quit Ingesting That- Are you making enough proper choices for long term results when you eat?
5. P.U. – Posture Up - Are you practicing good posture throughout the day?

Other important considerations
1. Physical Exercise
– Do you engage in physical exercise enough?
2. Self Reflection – How much time do you spend each day, thinking about ways to better your health?
3. Pre-Existing Conditions – What am I doing to solve my condition? Am I covering it up or taking care of the root cause?
4. Education – Am I researching ways to better my health on a daily basis?
5. Addictions - Do you constantly reach for outside ways to relax and relieve stress such as smoking, drinking alcohol, prescription or illegal drugs?
6. Environment – Do you keep your environment clean enough? Do you shape it to be health beneficial? Do you keep control over it?
7. Alternative MedicinesAcupuncture, Chiropractics and Massage Therapy can they help?
8. Hobbies – Do I spend my time doing things that exercise my mind and or body?
9. Family – Do I spend enough time with my family? Am I leading them in the right directions to live a healthy lifestyle?
10. Friends – Am I spending time with people who will bring out the best in me? People I admire? Or am I spending time with the wrong crowd? With self destructive people who bring me down?
11. Work – Do I enjoy what I do? How can I be better and get the most out of my time at work?
12. Stress – Is there anything bothering me regularly that makes me feel negative? How can I stop letting this force manipulate my life?
13. Communication – Do you speak your mind in a polite way? Do you tell people how you really feel about them for better or worse? It shouldn’t be hard to say, “I love you.”

14. Insurance - Do you have the right policies in place for you and your family and thorough understanding of your options?

NOTE: If you are suffering from chronic pains, you may need to seek out an Alternative Medical Professionals such as Acupuncturist, Chiropractors, and Massage Therapist. Alternative Medicines can help many existing conditions and are preventative measures when used regularly as part of your health and wellness program.

You have a basic knowledge of what is good and bad. Developing self awareness, being accountable for your own health and making proper decisions is crucial to reforming your health.

It’s the little choices you make throughout the day that make up the results of who you are and what you become.

Developing a Health Care Reform Act - It’s so easy a caveman should do it!
