Having your life in balance is necessary for great health. Are you healthy?
Let’s take a quick survey of your life balance? On a scale of 1 – 10 how satisfied with your life are you in the following areas? 1 means very dissatisfied, 10 means completely satisfied.
1. _____ Physical health 4. _____ Mental/emotional health 7. _____ Career/employment health
2. _____ Financial health 5. _____ Marriage/romantic health 8. _____ Friends/social health
3. _____ Recreation/relaxation health 6. _____ Lifestyle health 9. _____ Personal spiritual health
Well, how balanced is your life? Do you need to make some choices to improve your health? A good way to start is to prioritize which areas to work on first. Don’t ignore the other areas, but decide each day or each week which ones are the most important to address. The most effective way I know to keep moving forward is to have a life coach who will help you consistently move forward in the best direction.
To remain out of balance can have a dramatic impact on your life. If you succeed in your career, but neglect your marriage, is that truly success? What if you are successful in your relationships and career at the expense of your health? Would it be worth the cost?
It is not necessary to live long term in an unbalanced, unhealthy lifestyle. I know many very successful people who live in balance and achieve their goals. This is a choice they make everyday, to balance their lives for optimum health and success. These people have at least four things in common. 1. They have a vision of who they are and what their life purpose is. 2. They have learned how to set and track their goals. 3. They regularly feed their minds with healthy thoughts and information. 4. They live with a heart to serve others.
Are you balanced and healthy? The choice is yours…choose wisely!
