comedy club. Seriously. (photo

Libertarian Partier John Jay Myers is stumping for the US Congress seat from Texas' District 32 currently occupied by Republican Pete Sessions.
Because of his campaign style, some might expect to see Myers at the Improv in Addison or Arlington. Or maybe one of Hyena's comedy clubs in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Arlington.
Says Myers, "Ron Paul once told me that politics is serious work, that it is very important. But, you should always have fun while you are doing it. I took that last part and ran with it."
So your best bet is to catch him live at Sambuca on McKinney Avenue where he'll be emcee, headliner, and feature act in his one-man show, "John Jay Myers for Congress Kick Off Happy Hour and Fundraiser" on Thursday, January 28.
Meanwhile, you'll have to settle for his YouTube video, "John Jay Myers, Funny Outtakes."
