Christina is a native Washingtonian, communications expert and avid writer. As the director of communications for the Arab American Institute she came to know dozens of liberal NGO's working for peace, human rights, civil rights and civil liberties, and justice, with whom she maintains close ties. Her liberal roots go way back, a product of the Cold War, nuclear disarmament, and an organization called Peace Child that taught her not to fear the Other.
