Rand Paul. The gift, that keeps on giving.

If you would have been listening to Rand Paul, talking about, how the poor in America are as he said, "enormously better off than the rest of the world", You would realize this guy is not from Kentucky.

Where is this guy from? I'm having a hard time refraining from using the word Nut, when referring to him. So I am going to have to call him something, that I feel comfortable with, because he sure is not from Kentucky. I'm not sure, but I think he is ether from Pennsylvania or Texas. His daddy lives in Texas, so I'll call him, the Texan.

The Texan lives in a dream world. His ideas of how life is in his own mind and what reality truly is. Is disturbing to say the least.

I just want the poor people of Kentucky to know some of the things, that The Texan believes in.

The Texan opposes Federal Government involvement in Health Care. So all you folks over 65, who have Medicare, The Texan opposes it. To all the poor people who are better off than what they think they are, The Texan opposes Medicaid.

The Texan has criticized the Americans With Disabilities Act.

The Texan said, he didn't support the Civil Rights Act of 1964, because he believes in private ownership, but on May 21, 2010, Paul appeared on CNN, and said he would have voted for the Civil Rights Act. So what are we to believe.

The Texan believes that people drawing unemployment should be cut off. He thinks they should accept a job making less money, even though he's applying for a job that pays $191,000 a year, with all kinds of Federal health benefits. The same ones, he opposes. (Question for The Texan. Where are these jobs the unemployed are suppose to apply for? Are they suppose to run for the US Senate too?)

The Texan believes it's Un-American to criticize BRITISH PETROLEUM, or BP, for the oil spill in the Gulf. He said, that "accidents happen." I wonder what would have happen to The Texan if he would have been in Hyden, Kentucky in 1970, when the Finley Mine Explosion happen killing 38 miners, and said something to everyone like, lets not be criticizing the company now, because that's Un-American, and you know accidents happen. You think he'd be getting a vote in a county that is probably 95% Republican. Do you think he would have got a vote at all in Southeast Kentucky if he'd said something like that. This is what he believes people, He's Pro-Business. Well hell I'm Pro-Business, but I'm also Pro-Labor. In The Texans' world, if your Pro-Business, you have to be Anti-Labor. You can't be both.

The Texan opposes any Federal Regulations of any kind. So how about Minimum Wage. Sorry all you people who work Blue Collar jobs, if the Texan had his way, businesses, could pay you .50 cents an hour, and you have to take it. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there right now that are only making $7.25 an hour, but can you imagine making less than $4 an hour in today's world.

The Texan doesn't believe business should have all these regulations on them, The Texan believes they will do the right thing, like not polluting, discriminating against workers, putting workers life at risk, working children under sixteen, seven days a week twelve hours a day, and putting chemicals in foods and drugs that can kill people. You know what I'm talking about, all the things that Business and Big Corporations use to do, before the Federal Government put regulations on them.

Jesus, I could go on and on.

People, The Texan mite say a thing or two here and there that mite sound good to you, but if you dig down deep into the layers of the onion called The Texan. You would realize, he's not Kentuckian.
Until we meet again.

Peace

The only thing that I agree with, with Rand Paul, is legalizing marijuana for medical use, but looking at all the crazy stuff he talks about. There is no way I could vote for him.
I reacon his daddy is a big Ayn Rand fan, I wonder if he named him after that narcissist dog in heat.

Once again, a fine illustration that as opposition to Rand Paul increases (call it Rand Derangement Syndrome) probability of lying approaches 1. For starters, I guess if you were born or raised in one state, it's impossible to claim residency elsewhere, even if you made your career there and married a lifelong resident.

Rand does not oppose the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He has assiduously asserted his support for 9 out of the 10 titles, and only has a concern for the philosophic implications of the remaining title. His approach to the ADA is much the same. Please do not lie. That goes for the rest of the statist, government groveling Left.

But again, wanting to following the Constitution or trust private philanthropy over government welfarism supposedly makes one cold and mean. And trusting individual liberty instead of bowing to government interventionism means someone wants everyone to live in squalor. Believe what you want, but don't lie. And help yourself to an economics bo

This post clearly demonstrates you have no knowledge of economics or any libertarian thought. Bravo blogger no-one cares about for demontrating your ignorance. Just because you support stealing other people's money to fund your government programs does not mean A) the problem gets better or B) you are in the "right" of the argument because you are a bleeding heart with other peoples money. Rand Paul is going to win the race in november instead of crying about it how about you actually read some libertarian literature before so foolishly commenting on it again.

I'm living in London, UK and following this election very closely.

Someone explain to me what is extreme about:
    1. Balancing Budgets
    2. Term Limits
    3. Forcing legislators to Read the Bills

Americans need to wake up and stop buying into this progressive spin that is being dumped on Dr. Paul...
"He's a Racist" or "He doesn't care about the poor" etc..

You have run out of money america... simple as. You have no money for "free" healthcare, you have no money for extravagant government projects... your pention pots are empty and your debt is consuming you.

You can complain about Rand Paul and Ron Paul all you like..
But when you go bankrupt and these guys are proven right, "sorry we just didn't know how seriou things were" isn't going to cut it.

If you agree with the Libertarian point of view there are several "paradises" out there that you can move to. Somalia for one, where there is no government regulation. Yemen, and Pakistan also have large areas where the government holds little to no power.

Paradise on Earth awaits you Libertarians, all you need is a one way ticket there.

Cherry-pick your facts, obfuscate his philosophy, rant and rave all you want; it's entertaining. But Rand Paul will still win in November. That really steams your grits, doesn't it?

I'm all for Liberty. And I think the government (Republicans and Democrats alike) rarely spend the tax payers money efficiently. But for all of those out there that seem to think they know economic theory and oppose any government taxation/spending except for Defense, you are idiots (sorry). I am all for using government to prevent injustice and to look out for the greater good. Rand Paul is just another shylock trying to take advantage of the alarming trend of the right to go even further right than the Bush years. After the collapse of the financial industry due to lack of regulation how can anybody think Rand Paul is the answer. Oh yeah, you're idiots.

Apparently, we have a choice? Between apparent corportist Jack Conway Blue Dog Demonickraut who will just allow utility companies to remain private instead of public ownership and real water purification such as Ionization instead chemicals and a new source for water will not take place. The other choice would be for Nazi Rand Paul who's Dad Ron is a 33rd Degree Freemason Corportist Repugnantcun John Bircher, Knight of Columbus, CIA Operation Mockingbird Council On Foreign Relations Front Catholic Jesuit Nazi, who want to send military troops to China to fight communism? and a racist! Who wants to get rid of all safety nets and social programs and bend us all over even further to corporate fascism! The John Birch Soceity is a well documented occult and subversive group. These people are worse than Barry Godlwater! Same people who were Hitler's Priests in Nazi Germany! These Nazi Jesuits have been thrown out of every country in the world since the 1500's!
