Sex Positive - a free documentary film series

Photo of lesbians from Tinypic.comSex Positive (pro-Sex, pro-Queer, pro-Kink) is a free documentary film series, every second and fourth Tuesday, for people who like sex. It’s hosted at Jane Addams Hull-House Museum at 7PM.

The film series gives you the opportunity to explore sexuality in a new way with films that look at positive sexuality and sexual identity. Delicious snacks will also be served.

+ S&M,
+ polyamory,
+ swinging,
+ transpeople,
+ homosexuality,
+ heterosexuality,
+ the history of sex,
+ and so much more!

Female directors talk about the reality of an explicit women’s point of view, the desire in their films to “fantasize and dream a new image of themselves”, and how their depictions of sexuality and relationships are correctives.

    Great article about a very interesting documentary film series. I think open talk about sex can really educate people into making smarter decisions as well as have a lot more fun in the bedroom (or wherever, of course!).

    I think there is a lot of room for discussion about these topics and let's face it, fun but educational talk about sex is rare - but the resources are out there if you look for them!

    Thanks for writing Jolie, you have a great series of articles here for lesbians and bisexual women and I look forward to reading more.

    Thanks for stopping by my page. I post here Monday through Friday, except when I have something going on that prevents me from writing on a particular day.
