On Wednesday, a Charlotte, NC man and woman -- illegally residing in the U.S. --  were charged in federal court with conspiracy to kidnap two children in Mecklenburg County, NC in 2009, according to reports obtained by the National Association of Chiefs of Police from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

According to the indictment, Ruben Garcia-Rosario, 25, and Linda Gonzalez, 21, aided and abetted one another in the attempted kidnapping through the use of cellular telephones and a motor vehicle. Garcia-Rosario is also charged in three additional counts alleging possession of a firearm by an illegal alien, illegal re-entry into the United States, and use and possession of a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

According to the criminal counts, Garcia-Rosario and his wife, Linda Gonzalez, wrote a ransom note that demanded money from the family of two children who, on several occasions, Garcia-Rosario had observed by driving a motor vehicle to an elementary school bus stop in a residential neighborhood in Cornelius, N.C.

The indictment also alleges that the ransom note threatened the killing of the minor victims if the family failed to pay the ransom amount. The conspiracy is alleged to have taken place from about July 2009 until September 29, 2009.

Allegations contained in the indictment reveal that on September 29, law enforcement authorities apprehended Garcia-Rosario in Charlotte and that at that time he possessed multiple ransom notes, a photograph of the minor victims contained in a cell phone, a loaded FIE .25 caliber semiautomatic pistol, Winchester .25 caliber ammunition, duct tape, latex gloves, two Mexican passports and a ski mask.

Garcia-Rosario is currently in federal custody in Mecklenburg County and is scheduled to make an initial appearance before a federal magistrate judge in Charlotte on November 23. Linda Gonzalez is currently in state custody in Texas and will be brought to North Carolina to face currently pending North Carolina state charges and the federal charges contained in today's superseding bill of indictment.

If convicted, Ruben Garcia-Rosario faces up to life imprisonment on count three and 20 years in prison on count four. In addition, he faces maximum statutory penalties of 10 years and a $250,000 fine, or both, as to count one; two years and a $250,000 fine, or both, as to count two; and up to life imprisonment and a $250,000 fine, or both, as to count five. Linda Gonzalez faces life imprisonment on count three and 20 years of imprisonment as to count four.

This preferential, kid-gloves treatment summarized by Joe is part of a larger plan to subvert and destroy the American culture which has made the US the country it has BEEN(As in WAS). Don't believe me? Stand around and watch the decline accelerate, or start fighting NOW!

These people seem to be born with a criminal mindset. And these are the ones that our leader plans to bestow citizenship upon. They will include the rapists, the robbers, the child molesters and the domestic abusers. So, be sure and have your neighborhood turn out with welcome parties.

Again, as Senor Ex-Presidente Jorge Bush used to say,"doing the jobs Americans won't do."

Better get a clue Bobby - he didn't make that statement in full support of amnesty - it was a simple statement of fact, like it or not. When was the last time you saw Americans lining up to take jobs harvesting crops by hand or otherwise or trying to get all the landscaping jobs just to put food on their table, keep the lights on, and keep rooves over their heads - NEVER! Doin't get me wrong here - Amnesty would be a mistake - like June said of the ones coming here - alot of them have a criminal mindset and many are criminals themselves. I for one hope the two cited in the above article never see the free light of day again!

Cbpcop says, "Better get a clue Bobby-he didn't make that statement in full support of amnesty--it was a simple statement of fact, like it or not."

Cbpcop,I think you had better get a clue. He didn't make that statement in full support of amnesty??!! We must not have been on the same planet at the time he said this if you believe that. Bush was HELL BENT!!, HELL BENT" ON AMNESTY. Anyone but apparently you could see it. Understand something, Bush is an elitist, from one of the so-called American dynasties. HE COULDN'T CARE LESS IF AMERICANS WERE RUN OVER BY A MACK TRUCK, STARVED TO DEATH OR ANY THING ELSE. That is what so many intelligent Americans who read between the lines, everytime he spoke about illegal immigration, got from him.

Now to shoot down another one of your statements. "It was a simple statement of fact, like it or not." I didn't like it, millions of other Americans didn't like it and it was bull. Illegal aliens depress wages. Blue collar, or whatever other.

Cbpcop, to finish my previous post, Americans will do any job if the pay is decent. They don't want to depend on social services and state aid. In case you don't read me, there are Americans I wouldn't give the time of day to. They don't deserve it. That doesn't mean they should constantly be belittled. Millions of Amricans, like them or not, have paid taxes to this nation and given their blood. What illegal alien has done that? Americans built this nation doing stoop labor. You are so deluded. If they had to they would do it again.

Why don't guys like you focus on Mexico? It is the 12-14 richest nation on earth, and one of the most corrupt. Totally corrupt. It could feed all of its people, if the elite wanted to. They don't. That is no Americans fault. We have La Raza, and the racist ethnic interest groups, causing problems every day in this nation of Americans. They are fifth columnists, and I won't support them or their plans to overwhelm this nation with "their" people.

Cbpcop,I wish one could post longer because I would like to finish by saying that I never blame illegal aliens or call them names, as a rule. I do get on those greedy Americans and politicians who allow this state of affairs. I've often suggested that a guest worker program, for people who want to do certain jobs would be fine with me. BUT, BUT, Americans get first crack. No compromise on this.

Europe has guest worker programs, in which people can apply for a six month visa, and when it expires, MUST GO HOME. Then they can apply again, and so on. This way they retain their dignity, the host nation isn't overwhelmed by a foreign culture, and there aren't so many bad feelings. But our elite don't want this. They just pretend to. They aren't stupid. It is all a plan to get people onto the Animal Farm of the lowest paid labor and they want to bring everyone on earth into this plan. It amazes me how clueless so many Americans are, including you, if you are an American.

I hear you loud and clear Bobby, on all points! 1st, the southwest border is a virtual war zone for the brave folks in my sister agency of the Border Patrol - not nearly enough people to police that border - yet. Bush isn't the only elitest person by anybody's estimation, but at least he WAS elected, not self appointed like so many of the greedy bastards who woundn't give a drink of water to a guy on fire. And there are many foreign permanent residents who live in MX and cross the border every day to do that stoop work here, as well as ctz of MX who have work permits and visas who do the same as the aforementioned residents. I respect your opinions on more points than there is room here to post and I agree, the aliens themselves are no less human for wanting to work to provide for their families, a right that should be afforded to everyone who wants it. Americans that don't (want to work for a living) should be picking up trash along the highways for their public assistance $$

Cust and Bor ProCop- FYI, jorge was appointed, not elected. The Banksters running this world are ruining every 1st world nation with savages. This is why fellow officers are not allowed to control border. If enough Americans get involved and protest....
