Whitney Port revealed to OK Magazine Australia that she restricted her calorie intake to just 1,000 calories a day, so that she can keep up appearance with Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, and Heidi Montag.
Whitney, 25, says she knew her diet was unhealthy, but she had no choice since being on The Hills, and in the public eye, maintaining 1,000 calories a day is worse as it's ever gotten, Whitney's 5'10, and is now 120 pounds.
Whitney also said her health suffered, and it's hard to believe that balance of looking good but staying healthy, it's push/pull, according to this MTV star/ fashion designer.
For someone Whitney's age, it's important for a woman to take in 2,000 calories a day through whole grains, fruit, vegetables, healthy fats, and lean protein.
For Whitney, she has to stare at herself all the time, she wants to look the best that she can, there's just a constant pressure to look your best in Hollywood.
The pressure for Whitney Port to look good only intensifies as Whitney tries to make her mark while her BFF, Lauren Conrad, gets all the attention, and lots more opportunities.
