Conan O’Brien interviewed renowned spiritual advisor, Deepak Chopra, on Monday’s episode. Chopra analyzed Conan and gave him some very interesting tips. The most crowd-pleasing suggestion was for O’Brien to do his show in the nude. Deepak explained that if Conan presents his nakedness, he would be more comfortable and radiate unaffected humanity.

In Stuart Smalley-like fashion, Chopra made Conan recite an affirmation while looking directly into the camera lens. O’Brien repeated each of the following sentences, “I’m fearless. I’m beneath no one. I’m immune to criticism.” Then Chopra added, “Now take off your clothes.”

Before relaying this sage guidance, the best-selling author of “Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul” analyzed his impression of Conan from their first encounter. Chopra expressed concern about Conan’s desperate need for approval, fear of abandonment, and control freak tendencies. The host uncomfortably responded, “Yeah, we’re outta time.”

Deepak justified his ability to read people by the way they visibly hold themselves, claiming he can see their inner worlds. He noticed that Conan has progressed from their first meeting from cynicism to skepticism. Chopra explained that O’Brien’s hyper-kinetic personality probably causes him to have maladies such as muscle spasms, palpitation, and constipation.

This revelatory interview caused Conan to be a bit uncomfortable, but he worked it brilliantly for comedy’s sake. When Deepak informed that his ability to make others laugh does help by causing their bodies to secrete pleasurable hormones, one of which is related to sexual pleasure, it inspired O’Brien to throw off his jacket and loosen his tie, looking like he was about to take the suggestion to bare it all.

Yes. I wrote this article when Conan was the host of "The Tonight Show". Chopra came on the TBS show a few weeks back and made the same suggestion.
