E! is showing half-hour gag reels from it's nightly talk show, "Chelsea Lately" for three Tuesday nights starting on December 22nd. The blooper show airs at 10:30 PM, just before Ms. Handler's regular program.
So far, it doesn't look like they are pulling any of these gaffes from interviews or round table segments. It is a clip show featuring Chelsea, her staff, and guest actors cracking up during comedy sketches, mostly inspired by lines being flubbed. Chelsea's assistant/sidekick/little nugget, Chuy Bravo, elicits the most crack-ups when he has issues enunciating his dialogue. This happens often, even in the final broadcasts.
Handler is seen breaking up with uncontrollable laughter in many of these outtakes. She has been very open with the fact that sometimes when laughing too hard, she may actually pee a little. It looked like a few of these bloopers may have required a scrub down of parts of the set.
Chuy hosts "Chelsea Lately Bloopers" dressed in a tux. Chelsea wears sweats and portrays that she really doesn't care. Hey, it's a cheap way to fill three half-hour primetime slots on her boyfriend's network.
