It's a shame how badly some folks behave during the holidays. That shame is heightened when they disrupt the holiday celebrations and enjoyment of numerous people and threaten the health and safety of others in this instance.

This is a disturbing thing to have happen right in the heart of the Strip... with all the pedestrians that are out and about at all hours of the day and night. Thanks for the report.
These folks probably behave badly all the time. They had a GUN!
Billie :
And used it..only as a good idiot would.

The man who was wounded was my football coach. We were in vegas for a tournament. We won so they decided to celebrate. The guys in the car turned an illegal right turn. Almost hitting my grandmother. One of my other coaches hit their car. They jumped out and pushed my grandmother down. Aftergetting hit in the face one of the guys ran back to the car and got a gun. Shooting my coach in the hip. He got out of the hospital today monday 11-30-09 he's fine.
Why is the resolve to a verbal confrontation to use a firearm? Sad, scary that it happened in such a busy area.
Trey:
Thanks for your first - hand update. I'm sorry your group had to experience a band of idiots.
Cheers..
This could have turned out much worse. Reading the other comments is fascinating. Violence can happen anywhere. It is such a sad reminder of our vulnerability.
CSI where are you? Glad the coach is going to be ok. This is a shame and I'm sure it is not the norm here. People should come to Vegas and enjoy.
