Located one-half block west of California & Nevada Stateline, the gondola at Heavenly Mountain Resort is steps from family-friendly South Lake Tahoe hotels. The eight-passenger cabins take guests 2.4 miles up the mountain in 12 minutes while they enjoy views of Lake Tahoe. At the of the gondola ride is The Deck - a 14,000 square foot mid-station observation platform which is located at 9,123 feet. This ride features views of the Carson Valley, Desolation Wilderness and shore-to-shore views of Lake Tahoe.
During the Winter months, the gondola at Heavenly operates daily between 10:00am-4:00pm. Gondola Prices: Adults: $30; Teens: $26; Child: $20. Children under 4 are free. Ski, snowboard, zip line and tubing activities are available at an additional price. A Heavenly Gondola ride is a fun and scenic event for the whole family. Just a 'heads up'...strollers aren't allowed on the Heavenly Gondola.
