The Boston Blazers have crafted two radio spots to fire up fans for the upcoming season. The commercials will begin airing on Monday, Dec. 28 on WZLX and other local stations.
A big part of the Blazers' business plan this season is to raise awareness of the team across Boston and eastern Massachusetts. The team has partnered with the Karlson and McKenzie morning radio show on WZLX (100.7 FM) for ticket giveaways and interviews.
WZLX is part of CBS Radio's Boston lineup, so it is reasonable to expect the commercials to air on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Mix 104.1, and WBZ News Radio 1030 AM as well.
The commercials proudly proclaim that the Blazers belong to Saturday night; each Blazers home game does indeed fall on Saturday.
The jingle is catchy enough. Check out the commercials for the home opener and the generic, season-long spot below.

Looks like good stuff!
Sad that the Revolution can't be bothered to do the same thing.
Man, I gotta tell 'ya, that Blazers jingle totally rocks!! I first heard it on Pandora radio, and I can't get that damn tune out of my head....if a full-length version went on iTunes, I'd buy it!
Got something to say?
