President Obama to call for $50 billion program to repair nation's roads

In an effort to create more high paying construction jobs and repair the national infrastructure, President Obama will call for a $50 billion federal stimulus program.

This program will be used to repair and rebuild 15,000 miles of roads, 4,000 miles of railroads and 150 miles of airport runways. It will create many new construction jobs, many of which would benefit Miami residents.

This $50 billion program will require Congressional approval. Congress might have to cut subsidies for oil and gas exploration to pay for this program.
